Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 September 2026

1. Parties and scope

These terms govern the relationship between Passionitech Inc FZE ("ServiceBox", United Arab Emirates) and the person or company ("User") using the servicebox.io portal, the api.servicebox.io gateway and the mcp.servicebox.io MCP server (together, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you accept them for a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.

2. The Service

ServiceBox is an API marketplace: it offers ServiceBox's own APIs and third-party providers' APIs under one key and one invoice. Each API's scope, endpoints and data source are described on its page and in its documentation.

Data is provided as received from its sources; ServiceBox is not responsible for errors, delays or gaps at the source. The Service aims to be continuously available but, unless a separate enterprise agreement says otherwise, no particular availability is guaranteed.

Some APIs return headlines and summaries generated by AI from a source document. They may contain errors; check the original document the answer links to before relying on one.

3. Account and API keys

Give accurate information when you create an account and keep it up to date. Keeping your API keys secret is your responsibility; every call made with your keys, and every charge it incurs, is yours. If you suspect a key has leaked, revoke it in the dashboard at once.

You may not share your keys, or open several accounts to get around quotas or rate limits.

4. Plans, credits and payment

APIs are metered by plans subscribed to per API (Free, Developer, Business, Enterprise) and by credits; one credit is one standard request on that API. A plan's credits renew each period and unused credits do not carry over. Credits bought in credit packs never expire and work on APIs you are not subscribed to.

Paid plans are charged monthly in advance by card through Stripe; prices are in US dollars and applicable taxes may be added. If a payment fails, ServiceBox may limit access. Price changes are announced at least 30 days ahead and apply from the next renewal.

Invoices are issued by Stripe with the invoice details you enter in the dashboard, and sent by email.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a subscription in the dashboard at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and your access and remaining credits last until then. Within 90 days of cancelling you can restart the same plan.

A started period is not refunded in part, and used credit packs are not refunded. Because the Service is performed electronically at once, there is no right of withdrawal. The mandatory rights the law gives consumers are unaffected.

6. Acceptable use

Use the Service only in line with applicable law. You may not: bulk-download all or a substantial part of an API's data to redistribute it as a separate dataset or a competing service; try to get around limits, authentication or security measures; overload the Service; reverse-engineer its software; or use it for unlawful or misleading purposes, or to infringe the rights of others.

You may use the data in your own applications and products. Where a source's licence requires attribution (for example GeoNames, MET Norway, DB-IP: CC BY 4.0), you must show the attribution given in the API's documentation too.

7. Third-party providers

Some APIs are offered by third-party providers. The provider is responsible for such an API's data and content; ServiceBox relays and bills them through the gateway. If a provider withdraws an API, ServiceBox will try to give reasonable notice.

8. Personal data

Your personal data is processed as described in the KVKK Privacy Notice. Records of your API calls (time, endpoint, status, duration) are kept for billing, enforcing limits and security. If you send personal data to APIs such as Validation, having the legal basis to do so is your responsibility.

9. Intellectual property

The Service's software, brand and documentation belong to ServiceBox or its licensors. The data the APIs serve is subject to its sources' licences. Your own applications and content remain yours.

10. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, ServiceBox is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data, and its total liability is limited to what you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and liability that cannot be limited by law, is unaffected.

11. Suspension and termination

ServiceBox may suspend your access or close your account if you breach these terms, do not pay, or endanger the Service's security; where possible it gives notice first.

You can close your account in the dashboard. A closed account's data is deleted within 30 days, as the KVKK Privacy Notice describes; billing records are kept for the period the law requires.

12. Changes

ServiceBox may change these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the portal at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the United Arab Emirates have jurisdiction. Consumers keep the rights that the mandatory consumer protection rules of their place of residence give them.
